Dr. Gaurav Paranjape

Ophthalmology

He is third generation ophthalmologist from the Paranjpe family. He has done MBBS from Government Medical College Miraj and Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology from Shri. B. M. Patil Medical college, Bijapur.

After finishing his post graduation he went to pursue long term fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the prestigious Retina Foundation, Ahmedabad. Here he underwent training under the guidance of world renowned retinal surgeons Dr. P. N. Nagpal and Dr. Manish Nagpal.

During his postgraduation and fellowship days he has presented a number of research papers in various state, national and international conferences and won many awards for these presentations like Best Innovation in Ophthalmology award in MOS 2006 in Solapur, Best Surgical Video award- The C S Reshmi award in AIOC 2012 held in Cochin to name a few.

He has number of publications in many national and international journals.

He has also authored chapters in post graduate text books in Ophthalmology

He is a consultant Vitreo-retinal surgeon in Nayantara Nursing Home, Sangli since 2012.
